Motherhood brings inevitable change, no matter how much one anticipates it. Conceiving, carrying, and nurturing a child — then witnessing their continual transformation — is one of my most fulfilling experiences. Through my photographs, I document these moments in time unseen by others.
My children are active participants in the creative process, often taking the lead and shaping the images themselves. Photographing one’s own family requires trust and openness; it blurs the boundaries between observer and participant. These photographs offer a glimpse into the relationship between mother and child — a collaboration and act of trust.
